UF 5.04; RealDraw PRO 5My entry in the current UF Monthly Challenge being held by *heavenriver . The theme of this month's challenge is "High Hopes for Japan" [link] .
For each fractal entered in the challenge, =snow-valkyrie and her family have offered to donate $5 to the American Red Cross. [link]

Art is often open to interpretation, of course. I see the earthquake tremors, fractures, destruction ... all leading eventually to calm and order. Japan rising, Phoenix-like, from the ashes.

the rising sun in the vast grey brings about colour! The shapes are so simple and i could see it as being the opposite (fading hope) but the remaining warmth within the image just gives a small sense of hope i guess...
