Thank you. Sometimes the gradients are right there and other times you really have to work on them; this was a bit of both.

A very nice choice of textures and shapes here, Cerenity. The brushed metal structures are particularly nice. The whole thing sort of reminds me of the detail you might find on pewter work - as if this is some sort of powerful macro photograph, detailed enough to see in close-up the minute marks where the artisan has hammered away at the design (not that I know the first thing about pewter work, mind, LOL, it's just the impression I get with the grey textures and metal feel).

This is so cool and rich and elegant. I do love the different textures in the marbles too. And I mean cool in a cold way, making you come to it, instead of it hitting you in the face.
If that doesnt make sense, chalk it up to sleepiness.
