Description
UF 4.04, Photoshop Elements 3.0, RealDrawPRO IVI used the #Ultra-Fractal params for Image 1. I'm not entirely happy with the embossing which I did in Photoshop but I do like the overall effect.

"There are pyramids in my head, there's one underneath my bed, and my lady's getting cranky..." --Pyramania, Alan Parson's Project.
Slightly different spelling, but this would have made a GREAT album cover.
I've selected this piece as one of those to go into my next journal.

Thanks much. I like the embossing but it is a bit jagged and I wish I could fix it.

I like the embossing myself, it adds a real soft tecture that's different from what you usually see. It matches your soft open spiral beautifully.

Thanks very much, Lauren. I like it except it got a little jagged and I couldn't get it smooth without blurring it. I appreciate the fave muchly.

I put them on my watch & sent them a 'let this poor pathetic fractalist join your group" note but I don't get their comment in their journal that after they receive your note they come over & check out your gallery & then send you a welcome note.
Does this mean that you ( I ) have to pass some sort of fractal test ? I mean... are there "levels" to the membership ? Will I be blackballed ? Enquiring minds want to know !
Though I admit I really like that you only have to send them a link in a note to submit work to their gallery. The Apo club has 8000 rules you have to follow which is why I've never submitted, it's way too confusing.

I think they just want to see that you actually do fractals. I was rejected by UF the first time I asked to join; I was so pissed, I almost didn't ask again. I still haven't rejoined after my little hissy-fit though they said I'd be welcome back. I was also rejected by another group (non-fractal) but that one I just said "pfft". I think I will join the new one as from what I read, you can submit images that aren't 100% pure fractals.

I remember, you told me that. Hopefully, it'll be good. For starting up only 2 days ago it seems word's getting around fast.

I think the idea of texturing some of the larger petals was a good one and I really like the way the smooth petals seem to glow.

Thank you, Mags. I had fun playing with the gradient and while I tried several backgrounds, the black gave it the glow I wanted.
