Thank you very much for the wonderful compliment and . Your fractals are hardly bland or one-dimensional but I do appreciate your comment.
To be honest, I was hoping for a better response to this fractal but, in the end, I still love it and that is what really counts.

I also find it a little weird that it only has 6 faves so far... it should be 56... or more...

The spirit doesn't dominate the other elements, they are part of the spirit. They also exist outside the spirit but everything is one.

I do agree - this work has got a lot to do with Mondrian's, and I really loved his works. I think you chose just the right colours for each element - maybe I'd have given a lighter yellow to air, but that's just about personal tastes. I like how the Spirit element, being grey, surrounds and even includes all of the others in a pre-established order.
The 4x4 square intrigues me too. What does it mean?

I love that both you and Kat have associated this with Mondrian; I was trying to think of whose work it reminded me of. The yellow was probably the hardest color to get right and I would have liked it a bit lighter too but I wanted the intensity to match the others. The 4x4 square, to me, represents "spirit" as it encompasses the other elements. I think, too, that I am trying to control the chaos in my life right now, hence my fascination with lines, squares and geometric shapes. Some of the squares are slightly out of alignment and I considered adjusting them and re-rendering this but in the end I decided to leave them "perfectly flawed."

Indeed, something I didn't mention: I also like the subtle textures on the squares. They look... "perfectly flawed", as you said: a flaw which has been chosen from the artist herself is a show of her wish to make the art personal. Thanks for the explanation.

Thanks, Kat. I couldn't think of what to do for the background, then I realized the lighter grid would be perfect.
Does this mean my spirit is square?
