Thank you I thought about going off-center like Chris had, but in the end went with my norm ...

What a great way to finish the second round!  I never thought Advance Gnarl would make it this far!

Great creative idea using the mandlebrot in there.  Wonderful coloring!

I'm fascinated with gnarls. I love how frequently they tessellate, which can give rise to wonderful results:

I have always love gnarls, I even have one on my wall in my bedroom.  You love your example, it reminds me of one of mine from a couple years ago.  I love your colors!

I'm glad that the chain finished the second round with this nice fractal, because next week I'm  the whole week busy. Now I had time to start with the new turn!

I'll be in training next week, but should have my nights free-ish. I hope that things go well for you next week!

For advance gnarls First uses the first three functions and second uses the second three functions. Haven't worked out clearly which work with modulation and random yet

Thank you
I was playing with the various values and discovered which were worth twiddling and which were not. But having two and two put together to get four is quite nice, knowing what I observed was actually correct.

I will have to play some more now

I know I couldn't understand why advanced gnarl locked up on the OCA and functions all the time so I did some extensive research. It was well worth the effort and is now a joy to play with. I struggled for ages with some challenge parms last year and hadn't got a clue why nothing 'moved'!
