Description
A zoom-in the very center of the earlier ofCBAP-cubics (When the other critical point is situated in a 2-periodic super attractive periodic cycle)
Software: Ultra Fractal.
Formula: CBAP in the ik-module written by me. It's included in the zip that can be downloaded from here and also includes the modules of the great formula writer Greenseng her on dA
Below the parameter file, play and have fun

My pleasure Maybe you would appreciate my Chaotic series of fractal articles (<- click) if you have a little theoretical interest
Regarding deep zooms in the Mandelbrot set, if you check out my deviation Cauliflowerfort and click the link under "Artist's Comments", from page 4 you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps
In this journal you have some links to cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube. Also check out the zoom videos in this journal
.. and from the middle of the nineties there is a fantastic TV program about fractals, Colors of Infinity by Arthur Clarke Really beautiful soundtracks by Pink Floyd

Ingvar, I am so happy to have found your site. You are so unbelievably talented and accomplished in your fractal work. I have enough reading material and exploratory research to keep me busy for a long time! While I don't understand the in depth mathematics behind all this fractal magic I am helplessly obsessed with the fractal world and I am particularly fond of distorted Mandelbrot sets. Picture #11 The Cubic Troll and others remind me of the work of Rudy Rucker and his Pacman formula. Your Sunset in Mexico fractal pics are amazing as well.
I can't wait to play in your ik.ufm folder, with all the cubic formulas and the compass fractal. Fractal art to me is an infinite playground of exploring and learning. Thank you very much for suggesting all these links.
Regards,
Kathy

Those articles are written for YOU Articles 6 and 10 - 14 are NOT mathematical, the latter deals how the filaments of the Mandelbrot set are built up. IF you wanna learn the math from the very beginning, start with the 3 Intros
Most of the Cubic formulas are in the sp3 folder, written by my friend Greenseng here on dA. The Compass formula is very easy to handle. No matter how weird the patterns will be you will always find copies on the ordinary Mandelbrot set
