.. but you are an artist of other kind of art And you seem to have knowledge of the basic concept of fractals (details on every level of scale) As you have the motto "Never Stop Learning" I say "IF you wanna try some free simple fractal software of "Mandel an Julia" type, go to this journal. You don't need to know the math behind But of cause you shall follow your heart

I am, but I've done my bit of experimenting haha. I always like to try out now any type of art program, as long as it's free and my laptop can handle it, no matter what it is for. So I've also tried fractal programs. I am very bad at programming though. Any form of numbers and formulas immediately makes me panic. Maths was my very worst subject in high school.

So you have tried fractal software Most fractal software are free, including Xaos promoted in the journal.  Very few of us perform any programming and many fractal artists almost brag about their math allergy (which I think a little bit pity). Math allergy seems to be a very common disease, at least in Sweden where i live. Maybe it's taught in a wrong way in most schools As a punishment or rather as an inspiration, take a quick glance of my old journal,

The mysteries of zero divides

with new fresh eyes, forgetting all bad feelings from the school
