This motive is a rather deep in-zoom in a little cross in the very upper part in the previous deviation Paradise Spider [link] . Also this motive is only drawn with the respect to the set M6. The central little mandy is surrounded by a swarm of bugs, all having the shape of pentic Julia sets generated from parameters taken from a head (2-periodic bud) of the pentic Mandelbrot set.

The motive comes from a 2D slice of the 12-dimensional heptic parameter space [link]

*a_real = 0
*a_imag = 1.23325520828
*b_real = 0
*b_imag = 0
*c_real = 0
*c_imag = 0
*d_real = 0
*d_imag = 0
*e_real = 0
*e_imag = 0
*f_real = #pixel (horizontal)
*f_imag = #pixel (vertical)

Instead of the basic coloring (coloring according to the number of iterations) a evaluated form called Continius Potential Method (CPM) is used. This method produces continues slopes around the sets instead of discrete plateaus.

Ultra Fractal, formula Heptic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Stig Pettersson, Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from [link]

Below the parameter file, play and have fun

This one is really delicate, nice change of style

This is one of my bright colored fractals Many are dark Goth colored

A lot of fractals I've seen are always darker anyway. Or natural fractals. So it's nice to see a change of pace for them

..but I love Goth fractals

TeamPLOP In reply to FractalMonster [2012-06-27 03:01:22 +0000 UTC]

Don't worry I do as well
When they're dark they're a bit more funkier. Just noting that this was a good other style to see since I don't usually enjoy the pastel ones. People seem to lose a lot of their detail in it

Thank you Titles are often tricky things regarding these fractal motives that are merely visualizations of hidden worlds that both exist and not..

now I understand better I havn't seen the philosophical aspect of fractals , that's really interesting when I was young I was found of physics ect and that sort of philosophical questions I red a lot of things about that but I hav forgot them unfortunately

Thank you Images like this are called "fractals" BTW, have you heard about fractals before?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Woelkchen-chan In reply to FractalMonster [2010-02-18 22:45:19 +0000 UTC]

Yes I think I've heard about that before but I haven't seen so much images yet.
Are fractals for example like snowflakes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FractalMonster In reply to Woelkchen-chan [2010-02-18 22:48:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, all patterns in natur are (attempts to) fractals, ecxept the moon cause the sun you can't look into (said by professor Mandelbrot). Below some recycled info:

First: Check out the zoom sequences from page 4 in the pdf's [link] and [link] . The end motives are my deviations [link] and [link]

Second: In my journal [link] you have some links to short cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube

Third: If you wanna try some free fractal software, go to my journal [link]

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site [link]

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] if you have a little theoretical interest

Wow thanks for all the information!
Your videos are georgeous and the zooms show the beauty of those fractals
I also overlooked it on Wikipedia, there are nice pictures and explanations

Really glad to inspire people Maybe a new world has been opened for you The videos are, but the they are NOT produced by me But the articles are Fractals is a very wide subject. In Wikipedia you also have "natural" fractals..

If you are caught, you can't eve see a naked tree without thinking of it as a fractals

Remamber, when I earlier said something like "even if another kind of images.." In fact there ARE connections between my psychedelic images and your sceneries, cause both are fractal patterns Our brains are programmed to like them

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Woelkchen-chan In reply to FractalMonster [2010-02-19 08:58:49 +0000 UTC]

oh wow! I didn't know our brains are programmed to like that pictures because they are fractal patterns.
Awesome

I said that cause I seen somewhere that children growing up in environments having only non fractal shapes, big cities, etc, do not develop their brain enough much
