Description This is my effort at doing a full blown fractal abstract painting. I feel well when sitting with it full screen mode. It is best viewed full screen. That way you can see the difference in textures!

This one made me think of Dr Who (10th Dr to be precise) and how he explains the time and how holes can rip the whole creation apart. Really neat and nicely done!

Same here...! I also like The Mentalist, Supernatural and from time to time I watch 24

I watch The Mentalist and Supernatural, but the big one for me is American Horror Story!

I haven't gotten to that one yet (AHS), but I have it on my PC, just waiting for me to start watching ^^
So I have something to look forward to?

Fractamonium In reply to EmmEmperor [2013-02-05 19:19:15 +0000 UTC]

Wait till you watch it! It will totally captivate you. The acting is incredible!

Brilliant! Since I don't have any more Dr. Who, Supernatural or Mentalist episodes left to watch I'll probably start this weekend! Something to look forward too! Yay!

Tell me how you like it! I loved it. I think it is some of the best acted television there has been in a long time.

Hi again!
Sorry for the late answer ^^"

Me and my boyfriend have been watching AHS but we didn't think too much about it. We found it slow, confusing/incoherent. I can see why people like it but this show wasn't in my taste.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Fractamonium In reply to EmmEmperor [2013-04-11 01:48:20 +0000 UTC]

I really thought it was a great break from boring television. You have to have seen the series from the beginning each season.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

EmmEmperor In reply to Fractamonium [2013-04-12 13:22:49 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, so it might be
But I am not much of a tv-person at all, so I barely know what series and such are being aired atm ^^' That might be a part as to why I didn't really found it entertaining to watch AHS, as I only watch series on the net that really catches my interest ^w^

Fractamonium In reply to EmmEmperor [2013-04-13 04:33:21 +0000 UTC]

I am not much of a TV person either. But I watch a few things my grandchildren watch so I can keep up with them!

Yes, it works well! It makes one still relevant.

Very far out creative thinking!. In a weird way, it reminds me of Mirรณ, but much more complex.

Looks very fine, you haven't enabled full screen though...

Just some friendly advice; perhaps use whatever software you use
to make fractal manips to add a more subtle and classier signature; pasting the DA
sig over the centre spoils the pic and some people (like me) tend not to fave work
spoiled in this way... It's your intellectual property to do what you like with of course,
just a hint

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Fractamonium In reply to krigl [2013-01-30 03:33:22 +0000 UTC]

Sure, I had some art stolen. Plus I had a large sale lately that was dependent on no one else having the piece in free circulation. But, enough people have said something to me about it, so I will change this in the future. For me art is for appreciation. I guess I don't make enough money from it to warrant keeping it out of ready circulation.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

krigl In reply to Fractamonium [2013-01-30 15:02:38 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps something a bit more subtle would still do the job and leave the
attractiveness of the picture intact...

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Fractamonium In reply to krigl [2013-01-30 15:26:59 +0000 UTC]

I have taken them off of my images. But that is really an issue for deviantArt at this point. I think a small mark in the right hand corner would work just fine. I made it so they would be shown full screen for you.

Thank you! This is the most painterly of my pieces yet As I go I will develop my technique better and get a better sense of myself with this. But. it is just like painting in terms of how you approach it! I am having great fun with it!

Thank you, I am working hard at developing my style with it. I think I am approaching it most with this piece!. Unfortunately these pieces are time intensive, so I won't be producing as much as I do these. But, what I do, I hope, will be of higher quality.

Fractamonium In reply to Joe-Maccer [2013-01-29 06:04:26 +0000 UTC]

Thanks Joe! I am working with a concept called Fractal Painting coined by Kathleen Farago May. It involves using painting techniques by layering and blending to create an image separate from the fractals themselves. It is really fun. Zendor7 does this stuff also. He is more into more fantasy images and I am into abstract images. I am having great fun with this!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Joe-Maccer In reply to Fractamonium [2013-01-29 06:09:26 +0000 UTC]

I understand, Tom. I do a little bit of that using Photo Shop Elements.
There is so much one can do with a finished fractal.
Good to see others doing post work with them.
The sky's the limit.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Fractamonium In reply to Joe-Maccer [2013-01-29 08:14:23 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I have been doing this for some time now; but have just recently decided to make this a style and stick with it. Raw fractals are fun and rewarding, but this is more so for me. So I have decided to pursue it more than raw fractals. AQfter 12 years of this I think I have finally found my niche.
