(Sometimes when I am taking longer for a pic, I even need a break and do other pics inbetween. Till I feel "fresh" again for the one I took so long for. But I think this is because I am not too patient with things and get bored fast aswell. Bad habits...lol)

I may do that! But, I am pretty motivated. The problem is that I am having to make a lot of fractals to use in the composition and I know what I want and I am having a problem getting them right!

Sounds a bit familiar to me...
I guess you are maybe aswell a perfectionist and already have certain ideas in mind and then it gets a bit tricky if they do not come out the way they were planned. But as long as you are motivated you will be good! And your techniqual and creative knowledge is superb anyways. I am so sure you will be able to do what you thought of. Or maybe even better.
Maybe you would get even other ideas through this process now. Maybe that is why you took longer...to get new ideas.
