O_o Snap. Thought it was desaturated photo at first. U have very good understanding of shape and structure. Grass lookes like grass even from far away. Dioganals (did i spell that right... i wonder) in composition are nice and it looks dynamic (is it dinamic O_o nnonono i think its dYnamic). Beautiful ink wash on the trees (atleast it looks like wash on that scan).
IMHO u gotta balance the dark trees at the top somehow. I mean the contrast lookes nice but they are very heavy -)

wow, the amount of detail is really amazing! the composition is wonderful and really pulls your eyes through the whole piece, and you did such a great job of capturing the tranquility of such a scene.

Very nice and moody. Really has the feel of late in the day in a snowy land.

She actually said not to draw indivdual leaves and to come up with some sort of method of showing without drawing every detail, so you're probably in better stead than I am. This thing is taking me FOREVER. Do you have to draw the whole landscape and then erase and add objects too?

Uhh....I'm not sure. I've read the course outline....and we'll see I guess. I haven't been to class in two weeks (jewish holiday, then thanksgiving fell on the same days as drawing class) so we're kinda in the dark for this project. I JUST finished my initial three sketches of pre-cultural landscapes like 2 hours ago, because we're supposed to have them for tomorrow! hah. soooo behind!!

I don't understand the layering/objects thing! So weird!!! Judith, you're weird! But I love ya!! (it would be awful if she read that...and also funny)

Anywho, your trees would kick my tree's asses any day. Case in point: [link]

(well, that was four years ago....but still! haha)
