Actually, it was based on wowee's $70-or-so Roboraptor. It's just one of those toys that makes your kids think they have an incredible robot buddy, but it barely does anything.

I never had one or spent time with it. I got a roboreptile, its successor, and I can confidently say THAT sucked. It was more fun as an action figure than what they had in mind for it.
