Description
The second half of my commission with is a group photo of some of Travis' favorite horror writers and performers and proved to be extremely difficult what with me having to do a group image full of caricatures of real people. Thank you, Travis. Next time, ask me for drawings of other cartoon characters. They're a lot easier.*laughs* Jokes aside, I did my best to include a bit of something each person is famous for. From left to right we have:
George Romero as a zombie, naturally
Robert Bloch, wielding a deadly knife as in the classic scene from his book "Psycho"
Lon Chaney, Sr. reprising his role of Quasimodo from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"
H.P. Lovecraft revealing a possible family resemblance between him and Cthulhu
Vincent Price as one of his iconic vampire characters
Alfred Hitchcock with a decidedly sinister-looking bird perched atop his bald head
Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's monster
Stephen King along with a hand puppet of one of his many nom de plumes (or alternate personalities he uses to write different books)
Edgar Allen Poe looking fittingly paranoid and clutching a bottle of dram. Or absynthe. Or whatever poison of choice he's currently chugging back.

I always thought it was ironic that Robert Bloch was responsible for one of the shittiest books ever, which became one of the best horror movies of all time.

Looking back, I regret not having seen any of Bela Lugosi's stuff (the good stuff or the silly/bad stuff) when I requested this, because if I had, you can bet he would've been included in the group. I've already seen his stuff on MST3K, and just recently saw him in Dracula.
But still, looking back, even without Bela, this is still another terrific commish that you managed to make wonderful by adding your own sense of quirky humor to it.

A southern gentleman, Poe was. (A little odd, perhaps, but treated women like queens.)
