Description Now available as a T-shirt design on RedBubble!

Equestria's premiere goofballs: Ponyacci, Pinkie Pie, and Cheese Sandwich. Ponyacci is, of course, from the excellent My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book by IDW which you are my mortal enemy if you do not read.

This piece is actually somewhat more meaningful to me than the usual nonsense fan art. I'll leave it up to you to figure out why or forever question my deranged motives. MY MIND IS AN ENIGMA EVEN UNTO MYSELF!

UPDATE
This piece has now inspired a story about these three characters entitled "Swear on Camembert" . I'm quite impressed as it's one of the few fanfictions based on a fairly light-hearted series that takes a dark subject matter and actually handles it with the same tone that I would expect from the show itself. It's funny, touching, and even a little heart-breaking, yet never heavy-handed. Now go read it, whydon'cha?

Why do you watermark fan art?

I only watermarked the pictures I made into shirt designs so other people couldn't just nab the pictures and make their own shirts with them.

Oh, this is wonderful and wonderful. Β I've always seen Ponyacci and Pinkie the same way. Β

Ponyacci is Pinkie Pie's role model, so naturally there'd be some similarities between them.

No, what I mean is that I think I've always seen them the way you do. Β Oh, comedy. Β You can't teach it, but you can pass it on. Nothing could *make* Pinkie be a funny pony, but you can always learn from the classics.Β

That one is actually my favorite of the micros. Β I prefer it even to the Rarity one.

Not to mention that Pinkie Pie is my nephew's favorite pony, so that makes her a little bit more special to me. "I love her! Β She's so funny and silly!"

*Fave*

Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie, they combined their 4th wall breaking powers to cross over to another continuity and party with Ponyacci

Until we see a glaring difference between the two, I accept both the cartoon and comic as the same continuity. I know the writers do their best to make sure both portrayals of the world coincide, so I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Of course, this may change if we suddenly learn in the comic that Rarity is really Sweetie Belle's mother or something crazy like that! Haha!

Also, I don't understand why Pinkie Pie is specifically known for breaking the fourth wall. She's only really done that about two or three times to my recollection. It seems more likely to me that people think the phrase means any kind of humor that doesn't make sense, but it really just refers to a character speaking directly to the audience or acknowledging that they're fictional.

The Muppets, for instance, do it CONSTANTLY. To the point where there's no wall left to break.

hmm, true, but even if Pinkie doesn't directly acknowledge the audience very often she has done insane stuff such as pull checkmarks out of her imagination, turn into a G1 pony, and other stuff that warps reality in strange ways.Β  BTW, I have read and enjoyed a few issues of the MLP comic but I don't really collect it, and unfortunately I haven't seen the issue with that guy in it.

That kind of humor isn't meta-humor, though (except for perhaps the one where she imitated an older art style). That's just cartoon humor. It's not that Pinkie's always breaking the Fourth Wall, she's just extra silly compared to the other characters.

I have every issue of the IDW comic including the Equestria Girls Annual. Even though I still haven't even seen the movie yet.

I wanted to do something with canon characters only. As funny as it is to claim Vaudeville knows all these characters, I'm not going to forcibly shove him into the continuity of everything I like.
