These two are the OC's I've created for myself within my closed Species, Ambrusan. They are from the sub-race called Lumetos. Their names are Noctem (black hair) and Aelanra (Lavender hair).

The Lumetos are often referred to as the blind lunar folk, because once they merge with their symbionts, they lose their eyesight, and then can only "see" using the infrared sensitivity located on the bloom of their symbiont. They are nocturnal and are thought to be extremely spiritual. Most wear fabric over their eyes to shield outsiders from seeing their unusual pale sightless gazes and luminescent pupils. because of this racial disability, their other senses are enhanced.

Noctem is a rare Lumetos. once in a generation a child will be born during a lunar eclipse, and this child is born with dark hair, and is chosen to lead their people as an adult. Aelanra is his childhood friend and his mate. She was born during a full amethyst moon (an event unique to their planet) and is gifted with the ability to see the aura around people despite their race's characteristic blindness.
