The coloring's gorgeous. Especially on the blade of the weapon. Very well executed.
The only part of the pose that really looks awkward is the left arm. I tried it out with a rod and I can do it too but it's really hard with that arm position. It's easier if the hand's holding it from underneath or if the arm is behind the rod instead of in front of it (hand position remains the same that way). But still a solid piece XD

yeah, you know that my anatomy is pretty suckish D: I still have a lot to improve, but well, hope to achieve some extra knowledge in the future o3o

Aw it's not completely suckish. You've got a better starting point than a lot of people do. But if you can take figure drawing, it REALLY helps. Even if you're doing stuff like this it still is very useful for weight distribution and general directional lines.
