You instantly know, it just feels so right
They make your heart flutter each time they're around
They can make you smile without making a sound

Every hour together each minute flies by
The months even pass at the blink of an eye
They say that time flies when you're having fun
Especially when you know that you've found the one

At night when it's time to retire to bed
A thousand and one thoughts run through my head
If only you were here to hold me tight
Would make it much easier to get through the night

You're not always here but you are in my heart
My feelings I could tell you but don't know where to start
All i need say is they're nothing but good
If i could fit them on paper believe me i would

You really are special, so great and so sweet
The type of person I thought I'd never meet
So let's hope for many more of these happy days
And hope we're together forever and always

This poem reminds me of so much about my ex'. I'm still trying to get over it though. It's very beautiful, indeed, love is a very deep beautiful, indescribable feeling. And Dead-Blackened-Heart, I will respect your opinion on love, u can think of it anyway u want, but the the truth I see is that True love is never a lie, if you think it's true love and it turns out bad, then it really wasn't true love. True love will never ever leave anyone in the rain.

i agree with wot u are sayin about love. however it is possible for u to lose love through ur own faults. ur own mistakes. jus gotta hope u dont make those mistakes i guess.

no offence to you but you really do sound like a bitter old woman who has never been loved and is jealous of those who have love. love is real. i do hope someday that you are able to experience it and see how wrong you are.

I will respect your opinion on love, u can think of it anyway u want, but the the truth I see is that True love is never a lie, if you think it's true love and it turns out bad, then it really wasn't true love, it could've been the opposite, I've had about the same experience with my ex, I thought that she could be the one, but it turns out, it really wasn't true love. True love will never ever leave anyone in the rain.

well you can think what you want but i was in love with him!
i still am in love with him...i dont want to but i do....its true....but he is only an ass hole... he is cold hearted now...he wont ever be the persoin i fell for... so dont ever step in my life saying what i had for him wasnt real

Take it from someone who knows heartbreak, you can and will find love again. I know it hurts now, but give it some time and distance. And when that one comes into your life don't be blind or afraid and go for it. It took me 15 years to learn that lesson...btw I am 45... ...just when you do find it..and you will...grab on and never let go or look back...you have to let go of the past...

by the way...that poem is so beautiful and amazing..

i no ur 16. read that. jus thats wot u sounded like. i experienced it once too and let it slip through my fingers as well. i no it is hard after that. but wen u look at those who are happy and in love you just gotta hope that you get it again some day. think of it like this. ur 16. u have managed to experience love in those 16 years. think of how many more years you have and how long you have the chance to get that again. and the next time you dont let go. hold it tight
