If you watch a lot of Addams Family, you'll eventually notice Morticia always turns Gomez's advances down. That's because it is a family show. But I think, I hope, I'm pretty sure, this time they've found a corner of the house where no one will distract them.
Tis a bit rough in places, but I'm done with it for now. Must move on...

The line I hear in my head when you mention this is "Not now, Gomez" spoken through a grin. I always figured it was kind of a ritual. A game. A fun way to say "I love you" by each.
Also pretty sure they both really liked the anticipation.

Could be worse. Some of the weird old tv shows didn't even have spouses in the same bed. IIRC, Happy Days bucked that trend.
As for the Addams', I'm sure they had... ample off-screen time. I mean, they managed two kids already. Presumably through human procreation.
