to help people, it's "you're" when you can also say "you are"
like: "you're pretty." you know it's "you're" because you can also say: "you are pretty."
it's "your" when you can't do that.

Stamps are stupid. Terribly Terribly stupid. So is maliciously correcting spelling and grammar online. The worst kind of fallacy in an argument is committed when it is diverted to personal faults and unrelated topics. Eugh.

stamps are small images people copy and paste onto their profiles that have little to no meaning nor effect on anything. the grammatical correction this stamp promotes is purely a joke on my part. people that divert attention from their statements or others by correcting grammar are obviously out of choices but who cares because arguing on the internet is retarded in most every aspect.
don't be a bum.

Stamps are grossly overused. They also take subjects that require more than a cutsie glitter picture and attempt to represent it. Argument isn't strictly for the internet, you can commit the same, (and most people do) anywhere. Everything has meaning, and in this case it is a first impression, or general impression at the kind of person you are. I don't get the joke, it just looks like one of those dumb t shirts you get at wal mart along with the "Screw homework, I play video games" pfh

while stamps can be overused i think its a bit over the top to accuse every one of them of being terrible things when really in the end, especially in the case of this stamps and the one i display, they are nothing at all other than a bunch of pixels put together for a cute, stupid, or funny purpose.
i think that the stamps that are "grossly overused" and that attempt to display some sort of meaning or argument are a reflection on the person displaying them and that created them and their lack of commitment or conviction with what they are trying to communicate with these small parcels of images rather than a reflection on stamps as a whole.
while you can take a verbal argument and turn it into "thats not the right word nyeh nyeh nyeh" (which is also equal a display that the person can no longer argue logically nor present any points other than to attack something stupid) but correcting each others spelling is something that typically happens in mediums such as the internet, text messaging, in which the form of communication being used is writing.
while i agree that everything can be built together into something that can show a persons true personality, i think that you may be taking stamps a bit too seriously, especially in the case of this stamp and the ones i have displayed on my page.if this says anything about me its simply that i prefer correct spelling and can relate to a widely used meme as being humorous. not that i attack or correct people for typing something incorrectly through an accident or through ignorance of the correct way. i don't feel there is ever a good reason to attack anyone, especially on the internet, in a malicious way; and miscommunication is certainly not a reason at all.
the joke really inst that complex or anything that has to be understood really, seeing as it is just a mimicry and mockery of "grammar nazis" and the meme created by them which is used to passive aggressively correct someones grammar. some use it as an attack on their own generation and say "omg you guis r so dumb its you're go back to preschool" but i simply like the image that was used with the meme and the silly way in which it is presented. i know that you in general dont like memes and general "internet humor" and you may find it childish and you can liken it to walmart t-shirts but in the end its just a joke that doesn't need to be taken so seriously or critiqued.

I guess I just don't find stamps humorous or cute. Random snippets, quotes, curse words, and 'pixels' collected and brandished on display for the world to see. (You have to mind that the stamp doesn't really address a spelling err, but instead a grammar err.) So in any case, sure, you can't correct spelling in day to day life but God only knows people can be terrifyingly disrespectful and rude grammar nazis.
-If it does address the fact that you prefer correct spelling, it is a hypocritical stamp.
-There's is nothing humorous and lasting about 'memes'.
-What is a good reason to "attack" someone anyway? What is the difference between attacking and messing with someone to get their reactions as apposed to really meaning it?
-Even if you are taking a sarcastic point of view and actually making fun of people who DO criticize others in this fashion, it isn't really portrayed. There's no context.
Anything you create and post to the public is critique-able and can be taken in anyway. I never said I took it seriously, though, you are just assuming I am just because I shared my opinion on how dumb I think stamps are.
