Description
I wish my silence brought you comfort.
I’d say a thousand wrongs to make a right.
It pains me to see you crying inside.
You deserve no less than paradise.

Your eyes scream so many secrets,
But your teeth stop your lips from moving.
Your tongue cannot relax within,
As the silence chokes your throat.

How did it feel to need someone?
Poetry cannot deny the absence.
Ripping apart each physical cell,
While you’re so alive inside.

Hold my hand and wipe my tears,
While you form a deeper hole.
I can feel you when you’re saving me,
But you slip right through my fingers.

The grass melted underneath you once.
The clouds turned pink within our sight.
So high now that we cannot know,
How good it felt to smile.

We run with everything we have,
So slowly that it kills us.
Turning around to face a wall.
How did it feel to like the journey?
