Description Everybody asks me who I am.
What am I to say?
I’m that messed up little girl,
Who walks alone each day.

Every night I cry till sleep,
And mope until I cry.
I always smile. I always laugh.
I hate saying goodbye.

I’m the cruel misunderstood.
The one you think you know.
I’m the one whose skin is pale,
As pale as pale white snow.

I’m the one whose “friends” don’t care.
Well, maybe one or two.
I’m the one who picks the scabs,
From every “I love you”.

I’m the one who hides her face.
Hides her face in shame.
I’m the one who’ll never know,
I don’t deserve the blame.

I’m the one whose knees bend slow.
The one whose heart will break.
I’m the one who takes so much.
How much more can I take?

I’m the one who laughs too hard.
So hard that her eyes tear.
I’m the one who hates each day.
Each day throughout each year.
