Description
Spare me of this binding curse.Release me from the cage.
If you don't see my bleeding eyes,
You might ignore the rage.
But with this spell comes hate and love;
Friendship and misery.
And with the taunts come helping words.
Release so I can flee.
Your arms are warm, your eyes are cold,
Your tongue spills poisoned ale.
I want to run. I want to hide.
I do not want to fail!
The thoughts entwine around my faults;
Deepen so I can see.
So that the burning in my sight,
Could truly ruin me.
I’m scared. I’m lost. I’m so alone.
The sun has grown so dim.
And even though you say you’ll help,
I wish that you were him.
I know my voice will crack with fear,
As I want you to pause.
But deep inside I give in to.
The makeup smears with cause.
I lie to you when you suspect.
Why does my mind deny?
You’re not the one I want to hold,
I kiss the last goodbye.
