Slap against the floor?

Hug yourself, Syl.
They will never cease,
Walking for that door.

I’m alone now.
Wallowing in this,
Empty void of harm.

Walls are frigid.
They cannot embrace you,
They’re not even warm.

Do you see me,
As I hide my face,
Yearning for your touch?

I cannot see.
I’ve been in the dark,
Handling too much.

I am lonely.
I wish that you could,
Stay with me one night.

So alone now.
Fighting this myself.
Fighting every fight.

Do you feel me?
Feel me as I reach,
Out so you can see?

Walls are not friends.
You’re supposed to be,
The one who holds me.
