This is a viola made entirely of text! The body is viola jokes, the neck is a poem, and the rest has facts. Even the embellishments are special characters. Done in illustrator, took me forever! I think if you want to read it all you'll have to download it, some of the text is quite small.Related content

This is awesome! One of the things I've learned while playing viola is- if someone says a viola joke, yell the answer out and ruin it for them. ^_^

this made me sad as i read the body because i too am a violist. my brother is a violinist and my other brother is a cellist and they keep telling me viola jokes and i don't like it. but anyway... great job! i have a great sense of humor anyway so yeah. this is really a great piece of art :]

I got a pamphlet from Pratt mwp the other day and this was in it. Congratulations, I really like typography and this is a great one.

Ahhh, I friggin' love this. <3 Violas are the best!! Why are we so mocked in orchestras? Honestly! We have all the lovely strings of a cello and the portability of the violin, yet we get mostly crap parts (or "third violin" parts >>
*Sigh.* Anyways... yeah. This is amazing. All of the jokes made me laugh with a sort of upset/distressed/insulted expression on my face, as they usually do. Not only that, but I can tell that a lot of work went it to it. Totally a fav, and power to the violists (/violators-- probably the best joke ever. I am going to use that one.).
