Pen and ink. Original demensions 5X8.This is my first illustration for Black Ink Horror. It's for a wonderful story entitled 'Durning' by Anderson Prunty. It's a lovely, heartwarming tale about young love, I don't want to give anymore away! I hope you enjoy it.

Ooooh your first illustration 
love the piece...your pictures are never shy of symbolism and, though personaly to you, can be interpreted and made relevent to anyone... well atleast me anyways

thanks, working on the symbolism is one of my favorite parts of drawing. its funny though, sometimes it isn't aparent to me what the symbolism is until the piece is finished, as in some of my bloody angel pictures. this one, however was very deliberate, because i was interpreting someone else's work.

yeh, school is a right laugh.... its just finding the time to get everything done which is a pain in the arse because my course is fairly difficult... The tattoo is coming a long nicly... ill send you a picture of the design if i can find a scanner...

I see a tongue, 3 fingers, an ear, and an eyeball!
But no thumb.
Ah well, what wondorous plants will these sprout?
Though actually on the thinking side of commenting, those notes make sense - a tongue to taste the coffee, an eye to watch the show, an ear to hear orchestra/band/random thing, and fingers to pray.
Put this makes me wonder why these are buried, seperately together, and for each note only one sensation to be enjoyed.
Or is there another reason? Hmmm...
