Description
This is a commission for my friend Brad. Usually if someone commissions a piece from me, but they don't know what they want to be depicted, I will ask them for a word to describe the 'essence' of what they want. Then I do my best to capture that word. The word he chose was 'lonely'.I've been doing so much work in black and white recently, its good to be working in color with my old standby, prisma color pencils.

thanks, john! the stretched out figure was something i started doing a lot a loooooong time ago, but i haven't done anything recently with it. maybe i'll go back to it.
