Wow,
it's really good. I like the effect and the name fits it perfectly. The lighting is perfect, and I really like the efefct this pen makes. Very nice.

Excellent job. The pose conveys the sense of vunerability very well. The deckled edges is very interesting (how it's more pronounced next to her--as if the subject of the feeling is very close)

Another very emotive piece. I love how the smudged ink looks--adds a gloomier, moodier atmospher than regualar hatching could have. Your lighting in this is amazing, with the shadows and shades being in all the right places. When I look at this, I really get a good sense of where the light is coming from. Well done.

thanks so much, Tom. i wanted to go for a 'softer' look, withouth going to watercolor, it took some experimenting and this is what came out. i have a couple of other pieces with this same technique (don't know if i can actually call it that, since i stumbled onto it). thanks for the comment on the light source, that is something i have always struggled with.

Well, it looks great. I thought that it was watercolor or an ink wash until I read the description.

Can't wait to see the others.

any art supply store should have it. there are these pens that people use to color black and white photographs, and this blender pen should be with them. It's used to blend those colors, I just used it with ink instead. creates some interesting effects with color pens too. they aren't very expensive either.
