Description
This is a project I am doing for my final major project in college I decided to recreate the major arcane cards from a tarot card deck. I am recreating them with a Russian and Russian propaganda the theme.This is the Star card with a Chernobyl theme.

I like them thus far, have you ever seen an actual russian tarot card deck? I could scan in some of my cards if you can't find good pictures of them online, if you want me to that is.

No I haven't, That would be brilliant if you could scan me or show me them. It would be very useful in my prep work for this project.

Yeah, I'll get on that soon. Were you looking at a specific deck while designing these, or did you just go of off the main stereotypes that each card conveys?

Thanks, I took reference some from the Rider Waite Tarot Deck mainly looking at particular symbolism and iconography in their illustrations as well as the meaning behind the cards and tried to incorporate them into my designs with a Russian themes. A good example would be the sun card which can mean happiness and fortune when in Chernobyl's pre-disaster state it would have provided jobs and power which you could related to happiness. As well as the Moon card meaning hidden enemies, danger, Error and Terror. I related it to Chernobyl after the disaster where danger, terror and error are appropriate along with hidden enemies being related to radiation because you can not see it.
