Description
Lorac, Draan(Goatman) WarriorMy current LARP character, played in the german Weltenbrand campaign.
While I made the design, most parts of it were done with the help of family or friends.
Weapons as well as armor were made entirely by good friends.
The mask was mady mostly by a good friend, while I only did minor tasks.
Although I didn't do most of the real work, I am most probably able to answer most questions about how most of the parts were made.

Knowing the right people is everything, if one is not talented at all. XD

What would you like to know?^^
I'm allways happy, if I can inspire somebody. What kind of costume, do you plan to make?

armor: Is it Leather? Craft Foam? it looks really good.
Is the mask Latex? Paper mache?
Im not sure what kind of costume I would make but I was thinking Kobalt type creature. Something that I can make claws as the primary weapon. Something for Ren-fest here in America. I think my wife would enjoy dragging me around by my neck with her dressed as a Sorceress. The costume is hot? how do you stay cool? Thanks for your help. I may bug you again if thats okay.

The armor is hardened leather.
The mask consists of a polyesther resin skull with a latex face.
Sounds interesting with the kobalt.
The costume is quite hot. Mostly because of the head area. Heat just builds up there and can't properly escape because of the mask.
Mostly I stay cool just by drinking enough and trying to stay out of the sun, if possible. If there is any wind, it helps too, because the synthetic fur lets it through, which has a good cooling effect. The rest is just endurance...
For your purpose small fans might help, if they are built in the mask...but they would be too easily damaged, if used for a fighting character like mine.
Feel free to ask questions, if you have any.
