I really enjoy this piece. I don't have much to say about it that hasn't already been said by others. The idea of a moment caught in time, viewing the situation from an outside perspective-- as in, seeing the crumbling ground -and- the person jumping for the butterfly, seems to convey just the right idea without saying too much.
And, as usual, I can relate to the feeling portrayed.

I like the little worm. Perhaps it is a magic worm that keeps the little hopping person and the ...dirt pokey outy thing whatever that's called... safe from falling. Worms are helpful in other unusual ways. It's not too much of a stretch for it to be a magic superworm. I like also the flower hanging on at the end of the world. (The whole picture is lovely, but the worm and the flower keep grabbing my attention.)
