7/6 edit: Finally went back and made some changes. Thank you to spinachtoffeee , Aridax , and Umbra-Avis for your help!edit: I'm not totally happy with the arms, I feel like the anatomy looks off. If anyone has suggestions/critique I would appreciate it.

Hello! Your work is incredible, it has this magnificent softness to it that I absolutely love. Particularly in the hair. It seems like you used a painterly technique when you produced this and I'm honestly amazed at how well you've brought it all together. I know a few other artists who use a similar technique but usually struggle to refine their work, you seem to do that really well. Your drawing skills are excellent, I can see that your no beginner when it comes to drawing canine anatomy. The nose is what stand out most to me on the character's face, very well drawn! I'm no expert when it comes to human anatomy but I do agree with the previous points people have made about the creases in the shirt and the shoulders. Though you've handled the lighting on the shirt and the arms fantastically. The detail on the jeans is also very good. The background is pretty simple but the focus is on the character so I'm not too concerned with it. I do like all the browns you've used in this pic, it adds that extra classiness. I think maybe some more highlights on the character's darker areas would help to bring it more forward and separate it from the background though you've got an excellent contrast happening with the light coloured shirt. Overall I think that you have a lot of strengths, just the odd anatomy issues and clothing that you may need to look into more. I can't help thinking how amazing this would look with those additions. Keep working, I believe your on the right track.

Really beautiful painting! Love the ambience, the details (the hair!), and the brush strokes that you chose to leave. I only have two gripes with this one. Firstly, the shirt is almost impossibly wrinkly, unless he was wearing a very thin material like sports bandage, which is an...unusual material for a shirt. I think it's largely because the values of the shadows are too dark in too many places. It would look fine if you went back with a medium shirt shadow and brushed over the wrinkles that would be in the light.
I agree with spinachtoffeee on the arms part that you asked about. A good part of the off-ness is definitely the shoulders. Otherwise, I can see that you're missing the protruding wrist bones from both hands, and the left hand looks a bit flat. The right hand looks great, however!
Very solid painting! Took a look at the rest of your gallery and it's equally as strong!

Ah okay thanks, I see what you mean about the shirt. Especially the wrinkles on the sleeve look ridiculously deep/dark to me now that you pointed it out. Drawing white is always really hard.
I think I might try and work back into it some time, since adjusting the shirt would be pretty easy at least. Not sure if I can get the shoulders/hands right, but I feel like another try wouldn't hurt!
