Yes, some of the fans in the front row blew soap bubbles. A few of them flew to the scene and Damon was very glad ^__^

Cool! Can you tell more about gig plese??.. My friend and I joke that maybe Graham wearing something striped on every show ) But we don't always see it ^__^

First of all, it's always a bit surreal to see people appear in front of you when you only got to know them through tv. The gig was really awesome, my friends backed up after half an hour I think because they had to go to the toilet; they didn't manage to get back up to the front and I think they didn't mind a lot because the music was far too loud to their opinion (I didn't think it was but maybe this music is more kind of my thing then)
I was dancing my heart out and stood very close up front, the band was about two steps away from me, and I think I stared too much at Graham than he's comfortable with, but haha, that was kind of to be expected when you perform. It seems like he isn't going to be comfortable with it ever, or it's true that he's just very serious in what he does because he barely gets distracted when he plays. He doesn't look into the crowd a lot. But I'm sure he's seen everyone. We might even had eye contact a few times, I don't know about that for sure.
So my friends who I was with were in the back of the stage while I was up front and I danced to the music with a black/brown haired girl that I didn't know and she seemed to be alone. We had a really great time and went totally crazy headbanging along during the last hour. (It was,.. AWESOME) The great thing about being in front is that only the people who really like the music are there, so they don't look up weirded out when you go nuts. It's great especially during Freaking Out and the songs that are a bit rougher since they are very jump-able I probably spaced out a little during one song because I drank two beers in a row a bit too fast and I hadn't eaten anything that evening ^^" which was stupid but I couldn't help it because I was looking forward to this gig, I was too excited to eat. At that point I noticed the lights on the ceiling and just stared at them, moving along to the beat a little (it was really weird). Tended to close my eyes a few times too and just focus on everything that I was hearing and smiling, just experiencing it. For me this was one of the best gigs yet, it was really really cool to see him do his thing on stage and it's incredible how fast he moves his fingers over the guitar. It seems impossible to be able to make that a clear sound, when moving that fast and it looks so simple! I loved to study what he did and when he turned his back to the crowd and bent over his guitar, I thought his hand was stuck between the strings at one point XD but it was a frigging cool trick that he did! It was both educational and entertaining.

And you do make jokes about his striped clothes? I think a lot more people got the memo. As he got the socks from a fan as a present. By total coincidence I was wearing something striped too by the way ^^' I really didn't do it on purpose haha. But now that I know it, maybe I caught his eye a couple a times!
His fellow guitarist was adorable, he played rhythm guitar and he was a bit shorter. I just thought he looked cute and waved at him to take a picture and I succeeded! From that point on when our eyes locked he just started smiling and look back at his guitar, so incredibly sweet! He had the best smile

Afterwards, my friends said they'd never seen me go this mad. And I walked (well nearly tripped) back arm in arm with my new friend. (she broke my fall XD) We chatted a bit and got to know eachothers names for the first time, (we couldn't do it during the gig!) And once outside, we hung out with one of the bassists from the band before Graham (they're called Sunday Sun) and got to know the other guys from that band. It was really cool to be able to talk with them about random stuff and we all thought that they were pretty good, way to good to not be nationally known. We were quite surprised about it. The guys really appreciated the compliments. I exchanged phone numbers with my newly made friend and then we said bye and went back home. What's really cool is that she is a bass player for about eight years now! So we might stay in touch and meet up from time to time.

I could tell you more detailed information about this evening but I think this might be a good indication of how things went music is making my life so much more relaxed and social. I'm a lot happier since I got back into it. I'm very eager to learn the theoretical part about it all and would love to be spending my time doing just that, but that means I have to give up everything I am doing now and I really prefer getting a career into illustration because that is my first love but I might follow some singing courses and I'm thinking about classical lessons for guitar.

Awwwwwww, I'm so inspired by your story, don't think you missed anything. On that as it's written, I realize that it was really cool! And especially nice to make friends right at concerts ^__^
I will find something about Sunday Sun, I think they're great if you like them..

And - Omg - eye contact... I remember Sweden, Blur, and the last few songs .... I did not dance, just stood there and watched ... and he watched... fuck, I so understand what you talkin' about....
