Petty good. The only thing that looks off to me is the lights on the right. They have that dull reddish look to them. But aside from that I can hardly say anything against this render. Fantastic pic!

Wow! love the depth, lighting and feel of this - I'd love a tut based this image as this is where I struggle on larger scenes.

Thanks! It is actually fairly easy to get proper depth of field (DOF) in Reality. In my image, I selected the right eye of my policewoman (before going into Reality) to be the object in focus. Once in Reality, I clicked on Camera tab then I enabled the DOF option, selected an f/stop of 128 and clicked "Set focus". Please refer to the Reality 2 User Guide and find "Shallow depth of field" section (page 75 in mine). It's all explained and pretty straight forward.

I also enable an option in my camera in DAZStudio to get a better idea of where the DOF planes are and which objects will be more or less in focus. Select your camera in DAZ, goto Camera / Display / Scene View / Depth of Field / DOF Planes Visibility and turned it ON - you can change the color of the planes to something other than white to distinguish from other helpers.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for taking the time to supply info on the DoF set up's you used on this - especially the on Reality side of things, most helpful.

Remember that when selecting the object in daz before going into Reality and then select 'set focus' will set the focus to the centre of the object in 3d space. Setting to the eye in this case will be fine due to the distance away of the object. If you did that with a close up of the face, the eye could end up out of focus, as the center is inside the eyeball (its a shpere...). For a close up, or to set the point precisely, create a 'null' primitive in daz studio, and place it on the surface of the eyeball. Use a camera close up to get it spot on. Then select the null and go into reality and then select the 'set focus', and the surface of the eyeball will be in perfect focus for a close up shot!
