Description
Caught this rainbow on the backside of a little storm after standing through some rain and very small hail. The storm itself wasn't real impressive, but it was cool to see/hear it begin to wash over the lake. Can't complain about late afternoon light either. The rainbow on the backside of the storm was the icing on the cake

Now that is a weather phenomenon right their. In the front of the rainbow you see lighter clouds, but on the back side of the rainbow is all dark clouds. That should be named something. Great Photo Capture!!!

It's so...vivid
This is another great capture. A beautifully shaped and coloured rainbow - they have to be one of my favourite natural occurrences. I'm surprised that this one, being as bright as it is, didn't turn out as a double rainbow but I love how it seems to separate the two shades of the sky.

I find it really interesting that the sky is darker on one side of the rainbow than the other. I know you must play around with the colours of your shots a little bit, but is that really how the sky looked?

That is truly beautiful! I've never seen a rainbow so bright! The colors are so beautiful too; and how they look against the sky is magnificent~! Your photography is just wonderful. Even the storm; although just clouds and ominous never-ending fields of grass and marsh; is beautiful in its own way. I'm glad to see people like you who have the most exsquisite taste in nature; and helping it replenish.~
