Sat around all afternoon watching pileus clouds develop over cumulus. I was waiting for one to pass close enough to the sun to exhibit iridescence. Believe it or not, it finally happened! Unfortunately, another cloud ruined my view just as it started to get really good. You can see a little hint of iridescence in this image on the left hand side of the white cloud (note the pink/green bands). I didn't notice this while taking the image, but on upper left part of the sun, you can see a sunspot! No, it's not dust lol. It matches up with the images of the sun from today according to spaceweather.com [link] I may not have gotten the iridescence I was hoping for, but I'm glad I captured this unique image
