Witness the power of nature... Stuck in the monotony of a mild, dry January, so I find myself processing images of snowflakes from last year. This crystal was found on a car's hood in the dorm parking lot, shot between classes. Even if you've only got a few minutes to shoot, it can really pay off! Free to share

The hood of the car makes a surprisingly nice backdrop. Plain enough to highlight the intricacies of the snowflake but also interesting and varied due to the scratches and moisture. A really nice shot.

Wow, a single snow flake, living in Australia we don't see much snow especially this time of the year, I have been to the snow 3 or 4 times in my life and I'm 25
