So while I kinda got the gist on the latest chapter and how the divergence will presume, I think it can go either way (Hopefully not too spoilery on the next one, hopefully), it can go to like Ozpin & Co play along with Sonic, try to compromise and work together to find a way beat their arch-nemesis simultaneously somehow.

Or..

Given the hints I pick from past chapters of the sort of "questionable" good Immortal's past and Personality, he would likely take matter on his own, and his group, hand off of them, which it's possibly going to be very volatile and hostile, predictably cause for Sonic and his friends to retaliate, hard, with a slash of sword to line between them.

While also protecting their student friends from them, as they very much shaken and feared on the manipulative headmaster, a trigger-ready General and a drunken yet now quite angry huntsmen of a uncle, whom just want his nieces far away from this at all, now probably be the worst version just to get them away from Sonic (course they'll resist and fight for it somehow) while other like Glynda and Winter(if possible.) Extremely maternally worried for the students (and sister) safety.

If that's not bad enough, Eggman, along with Metal Sonic, probably not gonna wait that long anymore, and just gonna like carpet-bomb the whole Beacon out of the map and be done with it despite whatever Salem's plan to begin with

So yeah, this is kinda just my hypothesis on whatever the next, and much later down the road, or it will be just so very different it wouldn't matter for how much I pictured it, so don't take it seriously.

Just kinda excited what happen next with this sort of conflict from family betrayal, trust smashes to pieces, escaping maybe, even possibly a 3 way battle at once, and the crying.. Ooh, there's probably and definitely going to be alot of crying, if this would make the Fall of Beacon more impactful than the canon, then I don't know what is
