Description
New commission for my dear friend and her husbandCover for their sixth book of Relativity "Sweat and Blood". As I use to do, all the scenes shown here are related to the stories inside about the 4 superheroes: Black Torrent, Dark Flame, Zephyra and Overcast. Top-10 of 2015 Relativity ArtWhat struck me the most this year was that there was less new art in the gallery than previous years (though admittedly, still quite a bit). More importantly, there was a lot of different art. There were two reasons for this: #1 - Finances were spotty. While we budget out money for art as a business/marketing expense, there were still periods where we couldn't afford to get much. #2 - The need for canon art diminished this year. While we still love getting art in various styles, it's not as important to get pictures of the heroes (or villains) as often. We ended up concentrating on cover-art, group-shots, and black-and-white illustrations. The different was the uptick in art for alternate-universe pieces. We commissioned, and were gifted, quite a few pieces for our various cross-overs and collabs. So, while normally sticking with canon-only art, this year we had nearly as much AU work, so we decided to tweak things a bit.

This looks fantastic and I just love how you did Dark Flame in the centre. So much emotion in that pose, it really draws you in.

Again, you blow me away with your art. There is so much to look at. So many amazing details. I can stare at it for hours!
I am torn as to my favorite part. It is between Greg and Melody. Greg is one of my favorite characters (as you know). You show him as so brave and handsome. He looks buff! His body is fabulous. His chin is perfect.
Poor Dark Flame. You show her sorrow here. There are several stories which are so sad for her. She sheds many tears (but there are good moments, too). You captured her well, she is so pretty. Of course, I love her hair! Plus, I notice the rips in her costume.
It is exciting to see ekkimu in this picture. She is so beautiful. I love love the outfit you created for her. The detail on the back corset is wonderful. And her tattoos are perfect. So happy that she is an official part of Relativity.
I am always excited to see who you place in the middle. What fun to see Yule and Madge there. I do not believe you have ever drawn Madge. It is exciting to see her here -- she is lovely. Her outfit is perfect for her. Of course, you draw Yule amazing. The magazine with Zephyra and Dark Flame is perfect. I see there is even writing in there, which I have read. Jajajaja! Perfect. You captured both girls' personalities.
Only 2 villains we see this time, but they are important. Sniper with a dynamic pose. Vincent looks perfect. The wrinkles above his nose and the veins in his eyes. I love that you added a bit of blood on his mouth. It is perfect to his role in this book.
The scene in the sewer in the bottom is great. Torrent running, and the water splashing at his feet. Even the detail on Overcast so far in the distance.
Again, thank you, thank you. Another masterpiece. Your work is such an inspiration to me.

WOO! I've been looking forward to seeing this and it's just as amazing as I expected! All of the characters look fantastic. Everything is so dynamic and beautifully laid out. I can't decide if Dark Flame or Vincent are my faves... they both look so cool. Awesome work! Definitely makes me excited for upcoming Relativity episodes!
