redletter,

You are very talented as well. I have made several "trips" to your portfolio. I am especially taken by the photo you call "Dirty Weep." I recognize many of the same themes and emotions in your work that are present in mine. If the B&W photo on your "home page" is you, I see the depth of the emotion that is so present i your work. If not you, then you have succeeded in creating an image that speaks for you.

I look forward to many conversations with you.

Warmly

Falcon

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been traveling extensively.

Tell me more about yourself. Do you model and work as a photographer? You have a very fascinating look and clearly you do well in front of the camera. How long have you been doing photography?

That's quite alright. I'd love to travel ^_^

Actually I am currently a student studying in translation. I got my camera last march, so I guess.. a few months. It's a pretty crappy camera and I'd love to get a better one but seeing as I'm a student... I don't have the money. Plus, it's relatively new.
Thank you for your kind comments, I have lots of free time so I love to be my own model.
And what about you?

Well, there is at once so much a so little to say about me. I have had many careers thus far including a corporate executive. I graduated with my first college degree while still in my teens. I have a PhD in biblical theology and read seven languages, mostly ancient and I confess I am a bit rusty at the moment.

I have been doing photography for about six years now. The first time around I was very successful but didn't care. I was far too caught up in the woman I had been dating for three years at the time. Three years ago when that relationship ended, I was was devastated. As much as that hurt, I was able to realize that photography is my art, my passion.... And so here I am.

Tell me more about you now. And yes I would love to have you in front of my camera.

Warm regards

Falcon

I love languages. My first language is french, and I've learned english from home and school (since I was a little girl). Last year I took spanish, both semesters.

A friend of mine is actually really into photography, and since I've been trying so long to find my own thing that I won't get tired of... I tried it, and I still like it. haha

Umm... I suppose, all I really do is sleep, eat, go to class, do homework and chat online. It's pretty boring. hahah

I had a week off just now though, that's why I hadn't replied. I went home.

Good to hear from you.....

I love languages as well. Unfortunately I travel far less outside the US than I did when I was traveling internationally. One of the things I liked most about living in Switzerland was the mix of languages - German, French, Italian......

I take it that you are not living at home. Where is home for you? I left home very early in my life. So when I am asked where my home is I am never really sure what to say. I have lived everywhere it seems.

Hope you don't mind all these questions. I find you intriguing. If French is your first language, were you raised in Quebec?

Photography is my passion. Well, photography and writing. I am in the midst of writing a book about my experiences. It is to be called The Vampyre Chronicles. I m trying to finish the fourth chronicle and have been thinking about posting it to Deviant Art. Do you enjoy writing?

Well, I have to run. A client will be here shortly. I look forward to finding another note from you soon.....

I don't really travel, unfortunately...

Well, I am originally from northern New Brunswick, but right now I live in the south-east of NB for my studies.

I don't mind the questions I have never even been to Quebec. That is common for people to think, though, but there are a few francophones all scattered around Canada. haha

I like writing as well, I used to write a lot more than I do now. I wrote poetry, short stories, quotes, lyrics... all but books. I've tried but I never finish them. If you look in my gallery I am pretty sure a story I wrote is still there.

I guess you can say I am a pretty artistic person, as I also like to paint... and collages... and drawing but I'm quite less good at that.

Actually I've never been to the bay of Fundy. But I do live near the Chaleur Bay. The beach in Shediac (NB) is the best. haha

I'm sorry to hear that =\

hmm... I did have an allpoetry account. I'll send you a note if I ever remember or find the link.
hahaha... my favorite colors are black and green, my favorite song... I have many, many. I love Without You by Silverchair and Hello Dolly by Louis Armstrong... I actually really like quite a few songs by him. I don't really have a favorite poet as I only like to write it and not read it. I'm strange.

Thanks, the quote is from a Silverchair song but I can't recall which one exactly...

Two notes from you inone day.... Quite a treat for me! It has been a rough week for us and having the chance to talk to you does help.

There was a time when I was actually in New Brunswick rather regularly - I loved to camp on the Bay of Fundey (pardon my spelling) and on Price Edward Island. But it has been ten years now. I loved to walk at low tide - sometimes it felt as though we could walk all the way to Nova Scotia...... I lived in New England - mostly Connecticut when I was younger and that part of Canada was a favorite place of mine. Quebec is not a bad place but it isn't my favorite.

I can't tell if I love to travel or if I am simply a wanderer. Perhaps both. As I probably told you, I was very young when I left home and hence I never knoew what it was to have a family or a home. Home was wherever I found myself. I wish I could say that that changed but it hasn't really. It did for 6+ years but the woman who occasioned that brief period of peace has been gone nearly three years now.

Enough about me.... Tell me more about you. I would love to read one of your poems. I shall read whatever you have posted here. What is your favorite color? Favorite song? Favorite poet?

PS: I love your quote....
