I've made a suggestion to the staff to change the way you can submit your artworks to groups.
I think it is quicker and easier.

Support my suggestion with a like and a "I AGREE!" by clicking underneath, so the staff will be able to see it and think about it!

DA is a great website but adding to groups here is terrible. Are you a member of more than 10 groups? You should understand me. Type groups names is boring and awful, not being able to manage the list is ANNOYING!

I have lot of inactive groups and I just can't erase them from the "submit" list.

"Recents groups" are not recent at all, they are just 10, you can't change them and they are always the same (I still have a "Young teen art" group where I can't add anything because.. well I'm now 22!!!).

"Type a group name" is also slow and annoying: you have to type the group name (and be careful not to mispell it or you will have to check another time the name that may be as simple as "[Photo]GraPhyLovers_292").

When you add a group, it is in that list forever. Even if the group is abandoned it will stay in your list. You will probably not remember about it and waste time adding your work to inactive groups, just to receive a month later a thousand "expired" notifications.
Every time you join a new group you have to remember to add it to your list MANUALLY!!

"Recent groups" is anyway the most easy and quick way to add your work to groups. You see a list of groups: it shows the banner, the title and description. You just click on the banner and it opens "submitting to" and the group's folders (photography, traditional, digital..).
My suggestion is: delete the option "recent" and put "ALL YOUR GROUPS" instead, with the same layout. It should syncronize your groups and show you ALL of them, like this:

Also, maybe add a feature where you can choose between "most recent" (but shows anyway ALL your groups) or "alphabetical order".

Another great idea would be to list your groups into folders, for example: "scapes", "portraits", "all types photography", "drawings"..
