Having his soul trapped in Morrigan's body where it will be in constant pleasure is way too good fate for this guy...

gracias!, me gusta tratar de usar la escala de grises de los retratos con imagenes menos realistas como el manga o el comic, sin embargo me considero una persona un poco peresosa , y aveces me entra la desesperacion por trerminar rapido

Awwww, that's not quite fair. If he hadn't just tried to kill her, she wouldn't hurt him. The best kiss of your life in exchange for being a little tired.....seems a pretty good deal to me!

Well, maybe it's something she can control. Was it ever established that she can choose whether or not to kill the guy she's kissing?

mmmmm, you are right, I never knew if the can or not control the "vital energy drain", well in the story she is very weak due to the fight of Q-bee, so she really need to feed thatΒ΄s why in this panel the will to kill the guy is voluntary.

Without a doubt she can. Just like if you're drinking a glass of water, you can decide whether or not to drain the glass. Succubi are a bit of a passion for me, and while I have heard many vile things attributed to them (mostly boiling down to moral corruption....God forbid we take intimacy for pleasure), I've never heard the claim made that they were wanton killers. One of the few creatures in existence (assuming, of course, you believe they exist) which live without taking lives.

Me, I don't believe in the existence of Succubi, but I won't tell you off or call you an idiot for believing in them. That's just your opinion

Heh heh......I said they were a passion of mine....I didn't say I believed they exist....or that they don't. If I did, I certainly wouldn't be the one to provide proof of it.
But it's interesting to note that many different cultures have their own version of cubie lore, yet only the Christians paint them as monsters.
Neither believing nor disbelieving in anything is always a good policy. Lots of people believe men walked on the moon 40 years ago despite some pretty convincing evidence to the contrary, and for centuries the Kraken was believed to be a myth perpetrated by nutty sailors until we developed submersibles capable of going deep enough to photograph them.
In short, open minded skepticism is about as close as we can really come to a true scientific mindset.

I hear you. Just saying something exists because you believe it does is a pretty poor argument.
I can relate to your passion for Succubi. I'm kind of passionate about vampires at times (though I refer to the traditional, Dracula-caliber vampires; Twilight's version is pure garbage). And before you ask, no, I don't believe vampires exist.

I'm with you there for sure. That's one of my main issues with organised religion. I've never been a fan of believing something just because I'm "supposed to", nor DISbelieving something for the same reason. Some things, like extraterrestrials, I believe in not due to evidence or personal experience but simply because my logic tells me the liklihood of them NOT existing is insignificant.
Regarding vampires, I'm not sure where I stand, exactly, simply because there's so much conflicting lore that I'm not sure what I'd mean by the word "vampire"....lol!

Heh heh. 90210 or Degrassi with a supernatural bent. It's not for everyone, I suppose, but you have to admit, the fact that there are people who write whole essays on why they hate it is proof enough that it's powerful storytelling on some level. Liking something is hardly a prerequisite for recognizing its merit.

That's pretty much what my Dad told me. But my guess is that the main reason people write whole essays on why they hate "Twilight" so much is because of the fans. You've gotta admit, a good portion of the fanbase takes the series WAY too seriously.

Lamplighter1968 In reply to Razor9350 [2010-07-21 19:39:50 +0000 UTC]
I'd have to take your word for that since neither the books nor the movies caught my interest enough to get me to pay attention to either them or their fanbase. However, I have noticed that the folks who claim to hate it seem to take it rather seriously and since I've not been paying attention to them either I conclude they're the more vocal group. Makes me wonder if it isn't kinda like closet homosexuals shouting their supposed hatred of gayness to cover their own self doubt. Might just be fashionable to hate the stories and the sheep don't want to be seen as being left out.
I mean, it's not like hating pollution and crusading to have it eliminated for the good of the planet. It's a story, and people who don't like it won't pursue it. No different from me not liking rap or hard rock....I don't listen to it.

I personally always figured she could control how much energy she drains from a victim, since she's a martial artist and practices controlling her energy. Guess you just have to hope she doesn't decide to go all-out! ;D

In most circumstances, she wouldn't have any reason to drain someone completely dry like this. Usually it's you'll have sex with her and then sleep for the next 24 hours.
The difference here is twofold.
1) She was badly injured and exhausted, so she needed a lot of energy.
2) The guy in question just tried to get her killed.
