Even though I don't know what this is I really like this picture. I love the clarity in the detail areas, I like how my eyes are drawn to the teeth and overall geometry of the picture, it fascinates me.
I like the timeless monochrome feel too, it brings a sense of the classic to what might be an ordinary and mundane object.
If I had one suggestion it would be to frame the object differently and not have to crop the corner. I would love to see the entire top surface "complete".
