Description
I'm glad to present to you a preview of 'Prometheus Iconer'. A free but powerful application that changes all the icons in the system (Live Folders, Drive Icons, Libraries, etc). It is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. 64-Bit Only.I'll release it soon as I can.

Actually an .IP file is just a .ZIP file with a different extension. So, yes, I can make it able to extract the icons inside an .IP file. This will work ONLY if the icons are not inside a .ICL file, at least at now. I'm working to make it able to support .ICL files.

How does it work? Does it patch the dlls? Is it safe? As far as I've seen with Windows 10 and 8, patching the dlls can break the OS sometimes. Specially when you use a Preview version (build 10547 here)

Yes, it patches the files. I think this is a better way to change the system icons than modify the registry keys as Stardock Icon Packager does.
Yeah, I know that patching system files can break the entire system, but this app it is written to be safe and efficient at patching the system files.
So, yes, it is safe. I tested it on Windows 7 in my computer and Windows 8.1 & 10 Preview Version in a virtual machine and it worked fine.
