Anyone else feel like it's been too long since I've taurified a fictional character? (Actually, I've had this in the works since January, so it's certainly not for lack of trying 🤪) Maybe it's just my perpetual centaur brainrot talking, but I would say it's exceedingly overdue. That's why I'm excited to finally share this next installment in my turning-fictional-characters-into-taurs series, featuring Shinichi Izumi (and his right-hand-man Migi) from one of my favorite anime, Parasyte: The Maxim! (This also completes the trifecta of taurifying the main boys from my other two favorite anime, Akira from Devilman and Shinji from Evangelion... this is such a momentous day 🥲🌹)

Back on the topic of my perpetual centaur brainrot, whenever I consume any piece of media, one of my first questions is always, "OK, but how could centaurs work in this universe?" Usually the answer is "they couldn't" (at least not convincingly), but Parasyte was one of the rare exceptions where taurification seemed like a real possibility, given the parasites' ability to morph the human body—no spoilers, but at one point a parasite even transforms a pair of feet into hooves, so I mean, it really isn't much of a stretch. I took a more... monstrous route when taurifying Shinichi here, but he'll certainly have an easier time fighting off parasites—or running from them—from now on! (Taurtalk aside, Parasyte offers a thoroughly thought-provoking story, one that ponders the human condition and questions our rank on the food chain. I highly recommend giving it a view if you haven't already... that is, as long as you can stomach it! 👁)
