Yeah the whole point of it is because in Destiny's main story the Vex are considered a big threat because they are Time Travelling Liquid race in mechanical bodies essentially they were Terminators, then came Crota in the Dark Below Expansion who was considered a God to the Hive, Then in House of Wolves the Fallen House of Wolves steal Vex technology to bring back their entire group through time. And now we have Oryx a God who takes the other enemy factions Will and makes it his own. Now if only he could bend the Guardians will to him then He'd be an even bigger threat.So basically every enemy faction is his Bitch nowΒ

I think the Taken could qualify for such.
They're just a little more, ghostly, than biomechanical or biological.
I still think the Cabal have yet to show just how brutal and powerful they really are... I REALLY want the next DLC to center around the Cabal... imagine fighting a dropship.
Yeah, that would be awesome, having Cabal Dropships assault places like Earth and the Moon.

Ehhhhhhhh, The Taken are chumps and just annoying. The Flood are at least fucking terrifying when they come at you in swarms. That first mission on Halo 1 still gives me chills. Then that mission in Halo 2 when its all foggy and they just fucking leap out at you from the shadows or drop down from the sky! Now thats a good enemy to fight.Β
The most frightening thing about the taken is that everytime they appear, you need to take a moment to wash out your contact lenses

Well, they got quite a bit of attention in the Taken King, but no, they haven't really had the opportunity to be the 'threat'.
