Description
This is my OC, Lawrence, in his other persona as 'Lance Mandrake' the wizard!I actually used a reference for this but I forgot where I got it from. It was from a game on android, something about little devils.
Anyway, I got tired of doing my usual style so I went ahead and did a sketchy one instead because I wanted to draw something that I can finish sooner. I will do more of this style since I find it very comfortable. Let me know what you think!
I did the drawing initially on my sketchbook then utilized clip studio paint for some enhancement.
Software is pretty cool so I will definitely use it more in the future!!

Hello! I'm from 's Comment Tag! This is the last one in our tagline. my word was "cute" and that's pretty much 90% of your gallery so i went with the most recent one! Also because most everything else has been commented or critiqued already by someone from project comment.
Amazing things I noticed! 
-I'm aware that this is a sketch, but it has pretty neat line art to it! The line art is generally very clean all throughout the image. Even the background has very clean lines!
-You do a pretty good job with the details on your drawings! The way you've captured how the clothes flow, as well as the hair, is phenomenal. I love the way you even added some highlights to the thing on his chest. you can clearly see every fold in his clothes.
-In most of our works, you do a really great job at placing the elements of your artwork where they should be! I especially love how you placed him in the middle but you added a focal point in the background above him so that there is no empty space. you managed to make use of all of your workspace without it looking cluttered or unorganized
Things that need some improvement!
-This is something i noticed in most of your artworks. they tend to all lack emotion. they are all just smiling, either looking directly in the direction of the viewer or into the distance, at nothing in particular. i think the problem lies in how you draw the eyes. they all seem very droopy. in my opinion this could be caused by two things. first, the eyebrows are too high up. this creates this creates a very weird expression that does not come normally to people. (try raising your eyebrows as high as you can and then at the same time drooping your top eyelid. it is very weird) secondly, its that crease that you draw above the eye. this tends to make eyes look half closed. (hence, droopy) if you take it away, and draw the eyes bigger, it would match the high eyebrows.
(thats actually all that i see wrong haha its just one bullet point)
Side note: the little white sparkly things, they go great on the background, but i think its distracting when you put it on the actual subject, especially in parts that don't reflect light that way, like his clothes. maybe try to not to put some directly on him?
OVERALL the piece is really amazing, you just need to improve your expressions and making them more dynamic. other than that your art is very unique and great. keep it up!

I realize that I've been using the same expression for all the characters I've drawn so far. One of these days, I'm gonna sketch my ocs with various emotions and expressions as practice. Hopefully I'd have time and energy to do so XD
