Well, considernig that those two have been standed together in God-knows-where for so long and were forced to live in a makeshift treehouse together...it doesn't surprise me at all, Mr. Whiskers's reaction (I've also seen an episode wherein Brandy wore socks with her thonged sandals, but they were part of a "Hot Dog On A Stick"-esque uniform for a job she and Whiskers took, though Whiskers did all the work while Brandy socialised, wall-walked, etc.)
