pretty sweet shot! Yeah, great movie and music, if you liked it, listen to Godspeed You Black Emperor, they did the song where hes walking the street and the car alarm part. All their stuff is great. But yeah great photo.

can't say that i liked that movie. it was probably good but i didn't get that vibe. maybe it's cause i'll go into a 'horror' movie with the notion that "ok, i'm going to get ready to have the shit scared out of me" and with this particular movie, i wasn't scared in the least. initially it showed some potential, then it just turned into some sort of zombie drama. it's just a hyped preception that ruined for me i suppose.

the movie was good. it explored some very interesting themes. i'm not sure i liked the second half of the movie, it was a bit military conspiracy theory for me. i have personal issues against the military, and the only thing close to it i can handle is riley in buffy. but overall cool movie, and fucking fantastic cinematography.

also, the shadows in the eyes were deliberate. mostly because i love when you cant see a persons eyes in an image. i feel like it takes away their identity and personality, and makes them an object. so its not just a portrait of my friend hayden with a gasmask on his face, its more.
the image was shot in a studio with a flash right above his head.
