If you truly feel you're lacking in several areas, I'd advise you to check out the website of one of my favorite artists, Keith Thompson (www.keiththompsonart.com). He's published a drawing book specifically for the drawing of robots, and he's very good. He was also the illustrator for the Leviathan Trilogy but Scott Westerfield and a concept artists for the Iron Grip: Warlords of Isotx video game.

Thats a nice design you have there,i like the gloves shabily put over his construction and funny stilty legs,gives him a real "disposable" look.And would you explane to me what are you lacking, the only thing i see is that the way his legs are attached make no sense to how they would move unless ther is a bearing hidden in there.

haha thanks man, again! hmm lacking in the execution department and definitely need to flesh out my designs better. anyway, the gloves would help prevent stuff from slipping, since he'd have metallic fingers that wouldn't function so well i assume. haha!
