I would like to save up my points to one day to transfer it to a paypal account
I'm currently not old enough to have an account but I will be soon, so I was just wondering if anybody knows : Is it possible to send points through a widget
from my other account to this one so I can get them on my (future) paypal account ? I'm only asking to know if I should bother saving my money or just buy stuff with points.

make sure you do it through the comm widget (just remember DA will take a cut, if they still do), and like said below wait until it's valid to redeem.
If you give them any other way then they won't be eligible for paypal. Though if you're sending points from here (donation) and then sending them back here (widget) I would highly recommend waiting at least a week or two between steps maybe in case it does flag something up.

Looks like it's 20% (so sell something for 100 points, you only get 80). I think it's why a lot of people don't use the widget and stick to paypal/using points only on DA.

Honestly, that's what I would do. I'm sure you can get some decent art with your points, and when you're ready you can cut the loss and start using the commission widget (apparently you need a min of $5 worth of points to withdraw which is 500 I think?) or just go straight to paypal, which is actually quite easy to use.
I think most people have problems with PP when they are victims to locking out/issues with it, but overall I quite like the service. I use it for so much!

you know what I think you might bd right, with exception of the widget that are designed for that ? Like obviously not for converting money for yourself but like I have another account anyways so if I donate them there and then set up a widget on my other account and pay them for me, through me I don't think they would be suspicious? Since technically it's one deviant paying another.
At least that's my course of action ;;<;;
Oh and also, a good way to earn money too is too make adoptables. Plus they're really fun to make ! If you want we can do a collab adoptable ? Also I will give you a shoutout when I get home (I don't know if it'll help though)
Another way is just joining a lot of groups and putting in your journal there, that helps !
